Default Regarding my exhaust (Muffler)

Heey guys, haven't been around for a lil while, but recently received my Turbo Kit from Greg @ GoAutoworks. As far as I see its a excellent kit, but with the kit I also purchased a muffler, but purchased the wrong size =P

And with that I mean, 3" Inlet, >4"< Outlet Now I am wondering, wont this be a little overkill for a civic?

For those who're interested, its a Magnaflow 14834, Race series.

Thanks

what's overkill about it? most turbo hondas are running 3" back from the turbo.

I mean like due to the large tip

Edit; How many people use a 4" tip though, what are your thoughts on it?

Pretty common bro, some people have 4" downpipes. 4" isnt that large for an exhaust tip. it woudl be a inch bigger then the piping

Go to youtube, type in and search "hyper16johnny." Check out my vids, I have a 3" inlet and 4" tip Apex N1 muffler on my car. The green Integra in my vids also had a 3" inlet and 4" tip muffler, but that one had an Apex World Sport muffler.

If you like police attention and the "bling" factor, then that sounds like a good choice of muffler.

If you want a less conspicuous exhaust, there are many high flow mufflers with smaller outlets. I could suggest several good online retailers, but i don't know how many of them ship to The Netherlands.
