Default The Sleeved blockbuster project. Pics inside

Hi all, I know this will not be a direct tech post but if moderators want to delete it, go Ahead.

First off I want to thanks people that has been somewat involved from tips, to part delivering.

T1 racedevelopements
Tony, My man

-Fullrace:
Geoff.
Henry (Sad that you have left)
Javier.

-TD autowerkes
Damian and Cwest

-Bullseyepower

-King motorsports
Scott.

We are located in Norway, we will move in to the new shop in about 1 1/2 week, We have our own dyno so that gives us the opportunity to test out varius of turbos, cams etc,
But for now I had to move my stuff to my private garage.

The car is a 98 Integra Type R, with some exterior mods as you can se.

The engine is a ERL sleeved, and 5main. b18c1 with 84mm sleeves
it has a GSR crank, 1/2headstuds, wiseco coated pistons, Manley rods.
Delivered by Damian
We have ported the head, and installed Supertech valvetrain included Rollerrockers and rollercams.
4x 1600cc injectors, 2 walbros feeding one Aeromotive pro series fuelpump.
It has a Fullrace intakemanifold, and a T4 Splitpulse Exhaust manifold.
I have three turbo`s to use, one custom GT4094R with a gt42 (70mm) Compressorweel on a gt40housing.
One GT4202R (74mm)
And the final "Blockbuster" BW S480 with a T4 Ex housing(I belive that degrade the turbo to a s380, correct me if Im wrong)
Nice goodies Geoff and Bullseyepower.com.
a 80mm Mustang TB, The IM is portmatched and reworked for the TB.
The management will be a motec M4 system, and a t1 trigger Im waiting this and a lot of other stuff now, delivered by Tony.
I will also use Avid solidmounts and a G force shifter

The Mounts will be here tomorrow and I will install the engine in a matter of a week.
Hoping to get this ready to dyno for late april it will be dynoed on VP Import(OMG it is between 90-99USD roughly estimated price per Gal to use that here in Norway.
Maybe q16 will be a alternative for other than dynoqueening lol

Looks nice. More pics of the exterior and interior of your car!! It looks awesome.

You're putting together an awesome car. The parts are the best of the best! Hopefully it works out and you get some great results. Good luck and awesome build. Are you building the car for a race series over there? If so what other cars do you compete against and what kind of power and times do they put down.

Generally, we dont allow a lot of continuous project posts with pictures and little tech, but seeing as this is a unique project (not the run-of-the-mill 300whp build) so i'll let it go.

If you have them, i'd like to see more pictures of that big BW turbo...i can't wait to see some numbers for it. Do you have a power goal in mind or idea of what you'd like to hit??

Hi thanks for that, I have a power goal yes. 301,2whp or so haha.

I have calculated what power Im going to make, but I really dont want to estimate anything.
A four digit number would be nice Cant wait to se the powergraphs for this turbo, I have never seen it on a 4banger. (Maybe for a reason? )Hopefully the setup with the custom cams and the light weight rockers can help spoolup and powerband(aka 11000rpm)

About the pumps, it is only for ease, 2walbro setup feeding a surgetank that the Pro series fuelpump can feed from.
I dont want the pump to draw air, and Im going to have the pumps and surgetank inside the car above the fueltank.

--------------------------------------------------------
Theshodan, So It is you that coated the turbo?, did you expect it to travel all the way to the North?
Btw Nice work.

We definitely need larger, high res pics of this. Is that a wiggins on the TB? Full wiggins clamped charge-piping? Anyone who springs for wiggins clamps is automatically my hero.

Liberty is not your only option. Many of company's make strait cut gearsets for the B series tranny.

In for some numbers. Looks badass. Be careful not to suck a small animal into that turbo.

I do not have any pics of the Head of this engine, It is a p72(Gsr head) we worked the combustionchamber and deshruded the valves.

the Intake ports were calculated, and D shaped, the exhaustports was shaved with wide side and a tall roof, with the right shape.

The Intake seats were aplied unconsetric angles and only a 1 angle job for sealing.
The exhaust seats were done with a two angle job and one calculated radie instead of the 60*

We did bore down the exhaust guide to the port roof.

The head pictured is not the head for this engine, this is a p73head (Yes we doug in to the hype R) It looks okay from factory but I really dont like everything done to it, I think the stock b16 and p72 head are nicer to work with) that we ported for a customer but you get a neat idea.
Just Imagine a tad bigger ports.
