Running a JRSC What Kind Of WHP Am I Looking At???????????
Motor should be going back together in the next few weeks and I was just wondering if someone is running a similar set up or knows roughly what kind of horse power I should be putting down.
Set up is as follows:
B18c1 Block
Block gaurd
Forged rods
Oversized forged pistons about 9.5:1
Decked the block and the head
Gsr stock Head completey rebuilt with oem parts
440cc injectors
255lph fuel pump
10:1 FMU
CTR Crank pully
JRSC with lightened 9lb pully
Thats all I can remember for now
and im either gonna have it tunned on eManage or Hondata. Can I expect about 250 Wheel Horse Power?
Thanks

Don't waste your time with the e-manage. Go Hondata. And scrap the FMU. With 440 injectors you'll have plenty of fuel, and with the Hondata, you'll easily be able to control the bigger injectors.
If you were to run the FMU, you'd have so much fuel, it would be silly. It is not necessary at all with the bigger injectors. Unless you go the full meal deal with the e-manage (ignition control as well) you won't be able to control the ignition which is paramount with the JRSC.
Hondata and the 440s is where its at. Have a look here for the most informative (and full of junk posts as well) thread on JRSCs that you'll find almost anywhere:

There's alot of reading there, but theres tons of info about horsepower ratings and full descriptions of quite a few different setups.

You're never going to make 250 whp w/ stock manifold and exhaust. a lot of guys preach the kamakazie, but I personally think there junk. DC 4 to1 headers work nice if your not trying to spend $600+. Run at least a 2 1/4 exhaust as well.
