Default Run FMU or not?

I am planning on putting 750miles on my motor before putting on my hondata. Question here is... i am running the turbo on it instead of N/A due to time limitations but i dont plan on boosting during these 750 miles. I have all my earls lines ran already as well as my paxton fpr installed, can i get away without running the FMU since i wont be boosting? Thanks

so... did you already sell your fmu? they only take 10 minutes to install. anyway.. yes you can drive the car without the fmu... but be extremely careful while driving. NO BOOST!!!! and DO NOT let anyone else drive the car.

yep i already sold the FMU, i do however have connections to get another one. I already have all my steel braided hoses ran already and i dont feel like ******* around with everything to backtrack and install the FMU then take it back off and run everything again. I will be extremely careful though, if i do boost im sure itll be nothing over 1 or 2 psi by accident, my **** spools quickly No one ever drives my car, only me

are you running on your stock injectors?

I did the exact same thing...but i am done with my break-in. I had my eye on that boost gauge the whole time.

I would want my FMU installed if there is any chance of this.

yes i will be running the stock injectors. i plan on unscrewing the wastegate a lot so that it wont boost anything... if you unscrew it all the way and take out the screw, will it bleed out all the boost or is taking the part off gonna **** the internal spring up?

isn't the FPR boost regulated as well? if so, can't you use that instead of an FMU? i just thought that you could if you were going to accidently hit 1-2 lbs of boost. correct me if i'm wrong peeps.

there are such things as rising rate FPR but i dont think that he has one, he need to run the fmu beacuas it is boost dependant.
