Default Resleeving b16

Im looking at resleeving my motor with 84mm sleeves.
What kind of diplacement am I looking at? will it reach 1.8L or will it just be shy of it? and will this really screw up the r/s of the b16?
Im thinking of darton's and I have a local shop that is really good(knock on wood).
any other tips, hints and or info is welcome

You should be at 1.7 liter i believe with 84mm sleeves. If you are looking into sleeving, golden eagle stuff is very nice. I have a 2.0 gsr block with golden eagle sleeves, and the quality is top notch. You cant beat the price as well compared to darton sleeves. As far as the r/s ratio is concerned, it should have minimal effect.

Piston diameter does not effect r/s ratio.

You could try a piston with a raised piston pin location if you want a slightly better than stock r/s ratio, but you would also need custom long rods. Probably not worth it.

rod to stroke ratio. It is determined by the stroke and the rod length.

If you have a first gen B16 your R/S is like 1.74:1. You can't get too much better than that.

the set of 84mm pistons i just got from je list the displacement as 1.71. you could order them to be used with an ls crank and then you will get close to a 2.0 liter.
