Removing oil drain line
I realize this is probably a noob question but I didn't assemble the turbo system that's on my car now so I am not sure about this. I'm doing a rebuild on the turbo and while ripping everything out I found that the oil return line has seen better days. I ordered a new one in the mean time but for the life of me I can't get the oil return line off of the oil pan. I don't know if it uses a barb fitting or what but I have been yanking on it for a while now and it has barely moved. Do I need to drop the oil pan?
Here is the line in question.
There was a hose clamp that I took off.

Re: Removing oil drain line
I haven't really been able to twist it yet because it's also stuck on the turbo. I'm going to get some allen wrench sockets tomorrow to see if I can get them to move using a breaker bar. I may also hit it with a propane torch to see if it works.

i wouldnt use a torch man. Take off the turbo side, then try to twist this off. After looking at the brown stuff on the pan, i think the might have used some type of adhesive..If its not leaking I would just use it.
I dont see a weld in tap, so i dont know how they rigged that together.
