Oil line question!?!?
okay..I'm new to this site..and new to the turbo world..I've been doing info on this forever already..and I got everything down...the only part I'm super confused with is the oil fee/return...I dont know which goes where....Im getting either a TD04 or a T25 turbo from an eclipse....Can I just get the oil lines from Mitsubishi?...but the main question is what goes where...(i.e. where does the one from the oil pan go?..what about the T part at the block?)..thanks..I've been to Superhonda.org but not much people reply..

The "T" at the back of the block is where you will supply the oil to the turbo from. The line from the T goes into the oil inlet on the top of the turbo which is centered between the compressor and turbine housings (at least on the TD04). Directly undreneath it (pointing to the ground), you should see a small tube protruding, this is the oil return line which you will route back into the front of the oilpan.

Don't use the stock oil line from either mitsus. It is a solid line and you will not be able to clamp a hose on tight enough. Use a AN fitting 7/16"-24 inverted flare adapter to AN4 and use braided high pressure hose. to tap off the block use a 1/8" BST to 1/8" NPT fitting then a 1/8"npt to AN4 adapter. Then run hose to a tee on the firewall where you can connect a oil pressure gauge and the stock idiot light. Then run it to the turbo. Click on the link in my sig and it will describe what is needed for a T25 setup. I will be posting more details soon.
The return line is not the correct shape to fit to the oil pan. You will need to fabricate something. We welded tubing to the pan and used a flexible high-temp hose to make the connection.
Check the site and ask more questions.

Take a look here:
http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/v.../vortech3.html
Although its for a Vortech SC, its the exact same process for a turbo.

AHHHH!! No! No! No!! that big *** tee will vibrate too much and leak like a bitch. Don't put a big heavy tee off the back of the engine. Use my method to prevent vibration-based leaks. Put the tee on the firewall.
I am suprised they recommend that method.
