is there a way to maintain fluid in the rack? possibly by plugging the pickup tube ?

when i removed the PS pump on my PS equipped accord, i just plugged the lines. i dont believe it affects the steering rack....my car never seemed to have suffered from it, and i havent heard it affecting other people who have done it

i think im just gonna do it super ghetto and just take the hose that comes to the pump and put a T into it and reroute it back into itself..should in theory maintain fluid right ?

yeah, but i think if you do it the right way with the breather also, it will be a lot easier to turn the wheel, almost as if the ps was still there, but not quite
