which regulator and wastegate do u recomend?

Default which regulator and wastegate do u recomend?

i am pickin up my turbo,manifold,3"downpipe IC ic piping and return and sending lines this weekend......i need to but a fuel regulator and a wastegate what do you recomend. (at this moment i am running a tock b18c1 block with a b16a head for compression of 9.7 or 9.8-1)
what do u recomend and how much boost is to much for this stock setup?

suckkaa.... so thats the big secret... youll see... haha... your compression is much higher than 9.7, 9.8, you are in the 10's... as far as boost, if you dont want to hear boom... dont do more than 6 or 7 psi

your compression is much higher than 9.7, 9.8, you are in the 10's...
can u pass the blunt or what ever yer smoking on over here? since when does a b16 head on a b18c1 block produde ahigher compression ratio than stock?

yes a stock gsr engine in 10-1 but mine is not the stock like setup

Hey Y2kGsR,
Remember me? I have the "other" '00 DVP GS-R. Congrats on coming over to the darkside.

A TiAL wastegate would be a good choice, IMO.

I kinda remember that the b16 head on a b18c1 block will give you higher compression numbers. Wasn't it due to the fact that the b16 head is lower(kinda like milling a head)? I don't know, someone correct me if this is wrong...

But I suggest a tial wastegate...

Do you want a boost depandent FPR then vortech if the other my AEM works jsut fine.

Tial wastegate

B16a head a on GSR block lower compression.
Type r piston in a GSR motor raise compression.

It is all about head design.

road race engineering has tial 35mm wastegates for about $225 shipped. the aem fpr works fine. overboost has them cheap.

I would go with the Tial Wastegate and the new SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator.

ok well TiAL is almost a defenet i am thinkin that i might go with the vortech unit.

aeromotive fpr or paxton
and
tail 35mm would do the trick
3.88 bar??? or something like that abut 6-7 psi
