Default Recommended Oil Pump for LS-T

I searched and searched but couldn't find anything with a solid explanation. I'm rebuilding an LS Block and will run it for a while before I can afford to turbo it. Will the stock LS Oil pump last me with a turbo setup or would it be advantageous to just swap it out with an ITR/GSR pump now since the block is disassembled? Is there any drawback to running a higher flowing pump before the motor is turboed?

I don't see why there would be a problem, and since oil pumps have a tendency to fail anyway....

Thanks for the input!

exactly, the dumbest thing you can do during your build is re using the oil oil pump, trust me trust me trust me please. If anything please trust me, I did it, it worked, and then it seized after 4k miles. $2000 down the drain for a retarded $100 part. Get a GSR/Type R oil pump right from honda for $100 obd-2 96+ pump. You need hondabond as well to mount it, use brand new bolts from Honda because sometimes they can be warped and not go back in coreectly, these bolts are about .50 each from Honda and theres about 6-8. Dont skimp out! Trust me on this please, I would hate to see you build a sick bottom end and then your old oil pump decides to fail with a fresh bottom end.

But remember, if your using a 96+ oil pump on a Pre 96 Motor, You have to find/buy the 96+ timing covers.
