rebuilt motor, put turbo on after or while breaking in?
Hey guys got a couple break in questions i need answered before I fire up in a few weeks.
1. should or can I put the turbo on while im breaking the motor in, maybe just open up the wastegate so it builds no boost.
2. ill be running s300 with my setup as well as precision 680cc injectors, should I put all this on before the break in or run the stock ecu and injectors while the motor is being broke in?
Ive rebuilt and broke in motors before but never one that is going to start out a turbo application with this many aftermarket mods. Ive seen it done before on another honda that was professioanlly built boosted and thrown right on the dyno without even a break in and the car put down 415hp.
what do you guys think? please give me some useful tips or maybe tell me what you have done. thankyou

Re: rebuilt motor, put turbo on after or while breaking in?
1. just put the turbo on and run it as a turbo car. and also get a base map to drive. just dont wot at all.
2. put everything in so you can brake it in with the turbo.
what i did on my built motor was just put everything on and went to the dyno and tune. np at all. running on 4,000 mile already. hope this help
