rc injector help.
searched but no one ever gives a good answer. to the question. if someone has a pic of them installed correctly that would be awsome
when installing the injectors with supplied lower grommet. the injector and grommet sit on top the intake instead of sinking into the bores. is this correct. fuel doesnt leak anywhere but im worried about a vacumme leak.

Re: rc injector help. (postman)
they are installed correctly. i spoke to RC about this with my 550cc injectors. I actually have a copy of the install instructions on my computer at home that state the injectors should sit on top of the grommets.

? I think he is saying that he doesn't have the grommets down in the runner holes on the manifold and just has them chilling at the top, which is wrong.
OP, you need to post pictures so we have a better understanding of what you are talking about.
For example if you look at a Edelbrock manifold, the runners will have a large hole the exact size of the suppled RC grommets, and then a smaller hole below that which the injector sprayers shoot into. You install the grommets into the manifold and then the injectors go into the grommets. It is dam near impossible to get them in sometimes because it is so tight.
You might need to try some liquid soap or something that will slick the surfaces upa little bit.

Re: rc injector help. (dpetro1)
That is wrong...it doesn't sit on top of the bore, the lower grommets sink into the bore in the runner...maybe we are interpreting him different. That's why I said he should post pictures up.

he is saying the grommet in in the IM but the injectors them self are sitting on top of the grommets, this is how they are suppose to be installed.
