i bought a set of used itr injectors, sent them to rc engineering for cleaning, and just installed them but the car won't start it turns over and tries to catch but stumbles to a stall. yes, i did allow the fuel pump to prime itself by turning the on/off several time without starting it.

is there such a thing as obd1 vs obd2 injectors? these injectors slide right onto the intake manifold and the injector plugs snap right onto the injectors. my car is an 01 R.

Are you positive they are 240cc injectors? Maybe you got some 290cc (or whatever they are, forgot) Lude injectors...

 

Check the data sheet you got back from RC.

i got the car started by pushing the gas pedal to the floor and starting it. the engine was making a bit of vibration and sounded like it was skipping a beat and then it threw a code. i checked the plugs cyl 2,3 were black, cyl 1,4 were white. i put the black plugs in cyl 1,4 and restarted the car after resetting the ecu. the black plugs were turned gray. so i'm guessing injectors 1,4 are not working properly. i did not check the code.

i can't guarantee the injectors are 240cc. i got them from a friend who would not steer me wrong, however, he had bought them from someone else, so who knows.

rc does not refer to type of injector. the sheet says at 43psi the injectors flowed 250cc/min.

 

odd, the car definitely threw a cel with these injectors in it but i jumped the ecu and no code showed. when jumped, the cel turned on but didn't blink; it turned off when i pulled out the wire. i just put the stock injectors back in the car (without resetting ecu) and started the car. it runs fine and no cel.

how much does a single NEW itr injector cost from acura?

 

I would guess injectors would be really expensive from the dealer. From my understanding all integra's have 240 cc injectors. I have my stock injectors with around 20k miles on them that I might sell.
