installing RC injectors
just out of curiousity...
i havent installed injectors nor have i attempted to take mine off (newbie to the world of injector install 101. hehe). the question is... how would i know that i installed them right? it would really suck if installed the injectors... thinking they are properly installed.. and when i drive the car at WOT, i damage somethin inside the motor. i figured that even one improperly installed injector would not provide enough fuel and KABLAM! there goes the cylinder.

Here's what I learned....start your car.....take a long screwdriver and put the metal end of the driver on to each of the injectors and the handle up to your ear...if you hear clicking sounds, then the injectors are working correctly....for me, it was hard to tell whether it was the injectors or the sound of the valves....so my advice is to drive it around the block, and take it easy on the throttle at first....check for leaks, drive it again ...this time a little more on the throttle...it all looks good...haul out...but cautiously

if they are new I would not worry, you may just want to check their resistance to make sure they were matched. just make sure the orings are slightly lubricated when putting in manifold and rail to ensure a good seal, just use some motor oil on your finger. I also pack the injector clips with a bit of dieelectric grease , keeps water condensation and connectors for oxidizing.
