Can't get RC injectors in!!
i bought some rc injectors and i cant get the bastards in.....there 550s and going on a h22...they're also going on a venom rail....can someone help me?
Probably the same issue as with teh B-series manifolds coupled with RC or other Siemens/Delphi injectors. You have to bore out the inside of the injector grommet and plastic washer to get the injectors to seat properly into the intake manifold.

Are you using the ones that came with the injectors?

I have 550's and they fit fine... Every motor I've built has been fine, send me a picture of what you are talking about and maybee I can better understand what you are talking about.

LOL On RCs the o-rings don't go on the injectors. They sit on top of them.

It's clearly stated in the directions that came with mine. They call it a cushion. Some of them have a spacer under the grommet that needs to be removed also.

I know what your talking about I have 310's that seemed like they didn't fit what I did was put the injector half way in the o-ring which makes the bottom of the o-ring taper they will then fit into the manifold slightly, then put the fuel rail on a tourque it down they will fit in.

were you concerned at all about breaking the fuel rail...i'm actually having the same problems and was hoping to get a different sized rubber grommet from RC.

I have put the injectors in and out several times without any problems, just make sure that you only put a little bit of touque on each nut then move on to the next one that will prevent it from breaking. I suppose the proper way would be to go and get the proper grommet though.
