Default quick wastegate question

what would happen if a wastegate was run with no line running to the compressor or anywhere for that matter?

Thats fine, just take it apart and make the metal shavings don't end up where they are not suppose to be

I am not sure at the exact point at which it would open, but it would be very high. If the car is not tuned, or has boost cut its gonna feel reallly fast then BOOM.

I had a defective filling on my wastegate and it kept blowing off everytime I hit boost. 7psi spring and I hit ~14psi before I noticed by looking at my guage. This is something that you definatly don't want to mess around with.

Get it done the right way .
