Quick turboXS MBC question... need this for tomorrow
ok very quick..
i know this has been covered a billion times but i want to know for sure because im going to the track tomorrow.
ok i know how boost controllers work and everything but i do not have fittings, hoses, etc to do all this right now to run it to the top port of the WG, etc... heres what i want to do...
right now i have a 7psi spring in my turbosmart WG. the boost line that goes from the compressor to the wastegate is cut and the boost controller is placed in line (side port on MBC to compressor, bottom to wastegage), its cranked all the way IN so it just flows open (stock WG pressuer). As I open it with the allen key, it will pinch off air going to the wastegate and create more boost.
similar to this but with a very short line

I didn't really get your question, but basicly you don't use the top port on the wastegate, that is for a EBC.
The vac line between the turbo and the wastegate, just put the MBC in the middle and turn the screw one turn at a time till you see boost.
This is how I ran mine on the old car..
