Default quick vacuum line question

Hey guys been a while since I have been on here, got a couple quick questions, I just got a new gt3071 and it dies not have a spot on the compressor side for a vacuum fitting to thread in, looks like a spot is there to drill and tap, or is it ok to run the line from my boost controller to the intake manifold,I have a edleBrock performer x with a couple vacuum ports still free, I'm sure this has been covered somewhere just can't search to well on my phone, thanks the other side of the boost controller goes to my wastegate

In theory you want the shortest line and closest to the compressor, correct?

You can run it off the intake manifold, then when its hot out you get the same amount of boost.

but isnt the boost pressure different from the compressor when you compare it to the IM manifold?

Oh **** the boost controller part totally slipped my mind. but if I remember right top port of wastegate goes to EBC, bottom port of wastegate goes to turbo. I'm pretty sure boost pressure is a little different but I don't think its that big of a deal to make difference?
