you have to run boost to the side port, the top port is a vent or used for some types of electronic boost controllers.

That's what I was thinking too. Does that mean you can leave the top nipple off since the side one hooks to vac src?

If you're not using a boost controller, you leave the top port open.

Side port goes to any vacuum source (intake manifold). Top port goes to boost controller.

Ben if one is using an FMU must one tap into the stock FPR before or after the point where the FMU taps into the vacuum line going to the stock FPR? Before being towards intake manifold and after is towards stock FPR. Also, can one tap into the intercooler pipe going to the throttle body or it's better to do so after the throttle body?

OK, so let me get this all straight, (Correct me if i am wrong)

The line that goes to the top of the Wastegate connects to my boost controller, which then connects to my compressor

the line on the side of my wastegate (actually the rear) goes to my intake manifold

IS THIS CORRECT?

I'll try to scan the Tial wastegate installation diagram.. This should answer some of your question.. i have the same question before also....I plug my compressor housing.. then tap a hole in my incooler piping for boost reading..by doing this you should get the accurate reading after the intercooler.....(correct me if i'm wrong on this one.... ) here's the diagram
