Default Quick sparkplug gap question

The car is a 98 hatch
engine is a stock b18c1
turbo at about 10 psi tuned on hondata

I've read that ngk bkr7e plugs are the way to go. (someone correct me if I'm misinformed) Now I just need to know what to gap them at. I've read that the common rule is to gap them smaller for the more power you make. I also read that the standard range for a turbo honda is between .28 to .35 or something like that. How do you really know what to gap it at exactly?

from what I understand running a .025-.028 or even .030 is the ideal gap for turbo hondas.

I run mine at .025.

Just go out and buy a gap tool, super cheap, and easy to do.

I just run the gap my tuner tells me lol. They use .025 on all their turbocharged honda applications.

No issues with it yet.

Sorry, I was a little misleading with my question. I know HOW to gap, just not what I should gap it to. I guess I could give my tuner a call.

anything within this range should be fine. commonly, ive seen people have their gaps set in the 20's. do a quick search and find out.

If you read my original post, I referenced a lot of information I HAD ALREADY found. So I clearly had searched already, but had come up with a wide range of gaps that I wanted to get more clarity on. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for all of the responses.

thats the point of an FAQ section though. The question has been asked so many times that the moderators put the "best" answer into the FAQ so that way you dont have to search all over or be concerned with finding conflicting information.

i was nice enough to link you to the correct answer and you accuse me of not reading your orignal post. gimme a break. .028"-.035" is not a wide range. if you had really searched you would have found that you can start high and gap down as needed. NGK suggests reducing gap by .004" per 50hp.

its all good though, ill be sure to just say SEARCH or link you to lmgtfy next time.

EDIT: for fun i googled "turbo honda spark plug gap" and what do you know...the very first result is the link i posted above.

honestly dont get those cheap spark plug gapper tools...get a nice set of feeler gauges. plus you can use it for other things as well.

bkr7e's (stock 4644) are the way to go, your setup should likely be gapped around .028
