As well we should. Why risk blowing a motor/turbo/etc from saving $200? I haven't heard anything bad about DragIII but I'm new to the turbo-Honda scene. I went with a phatty deal by Peakboost on here.

I was thinking like you but since I planned on upgrading in a couple of months i just spent the extra the first time and saved money.

if you dont intend to make a lot of power, drag is ok. their wastegate placement sucks though.

Just click on the link that I gave you. That would give you an idea how bad the welding was on the one you showed us.

here is my advice. If you dont have the money to spend to go turbo, then save your money and wait untill you have enough to buy a good kit like Full-Race or Peakboost. If you buy cheap now your just going to spend more money than you need to and you probably wont be getting any of that back. So my question to you is.... Do you want to spend say around $1,200 now and then spend another say $3,000 when you upgrade later down the road. Now you have spent $4200 total on everything, when you could have just spent the 3K to start with and be happy from the start.

But thats my .02 cents take it or leave it

drag manifolds again have bad wastegate placement.
OBX is a good choice and is cast so you won't have to worry about cracking.
But personally for $235 tha log manifold that 90blackcrx sells is a deal.
I am getting one soon from him.

any cast manifold/decent log manifold is better than these ssautochrome ones, and especially that green one. sure they arent the most efficient design but for the beginner it gets the job done. unless they want to make over 350whp they will work.

and u say why buy now and upgrade later.....my buddy did that, sold his greddy turbo kit in separate pieces for more than he bought it for brand new. u can probly sell that 235 log mani for like 175 used. not a bad loss at all, imo for the beginners
