Default question, i searched, dont rip me appart

hey i know poeple mad mouth ssautochrome and alla that. but i heard from 3 other people who have used their turbo kits that if you make the welds on the manifold they are fine, and yeh after about 15k the turbo blows but the kid that happen to just repced it with a brand ndame turbocharger..... does anyone have any expierence or feed back i could get. and also i've heard that their intercoolers work extremely well. im just looking from feedback from people that have used them, not kids saying "you get what you pay for"...

i bought one of their intercoolers.... they say it should be ok for my purposes 300-350... as long as it is a bar and plate design...

not too sure about their turbos...

If you're willing to deal with all the BS of fixing everything that breaks, go for it.

You get what you pay for.

Nah, for reals tho. Many people use the knockoff wastegates, bovs, ic with good results. It seems like a real pain in the a$$ to brace the mani though. Why not just build one or buy a cheap one that will be ok? $300 will get you a ss log, I think that's a pretty good deal. As for the turbo, I would'nt risk it. You are really risking your ENGINE, not just the cost of the turbo. If your engine eats some shrapnel from an exploded compressor wheel your gonna have to replace more than just the cheap turbo.

If I was going for a budget d-series build or maybe a stock ls I would rock a wg, bov, ic and piping from them. Other than that I would be very very weary of thier turbos and mani's. GL.

thats the thing i never knew how an engine can eat shrapnel from a compressor wheel when there is an intercooler in the way and they are pretty small holes

a grain of sand can completely ruin a motor! so many pieces of about rice size metal can do some serious damage.
