Question about t3/t04e turbo
I'm sure there's a thread or two on this but I can't seem to find it so here goes:
I have a t3/t04E turbo, it has a .50 A/R and .63 Exhaust housing on it.
The specs of the compressor wheel are so:
Cold Side: Hot Side:
2.225 in. 2.210 in.
3 in. 2.605 in.
I'm curious if I put this on a stock JDM B16 with a 2.5" downpipe when it's going to spool and what kind of power to expect out of it. I'm shooting for 240-260 whp, not any more for now, as I plan to use it as DD.
My second question is that when I pulled the cold side housing off to measure the wheel it looked like there was a bit of sticky oil deposits on the inside of the housing. Is that normal or does this mean that the oil seals in the turbo are probably bad?
Whoever figures out if you can explain to me what you did that would be awesome!
Thanks,
