Name this turbo
Does this appear to be a genuine garrett turbo? Appear to be a T3 flange? I know it's a smaller turbo with A/R 42 on comp side.. can't tell exhaust. Any idea on what kind of car this would go on originally? I've seen anything from R33 to Volvo 740..
For low-mid range, how would this fair on a b16? My end goal for my daily CRX is 220-240whp so I'm undecided about a small turbo like this or a T3/T4 with more lag.

Re: Name this turbo
Definitely a t3 turbine housing, outlet flange gives it away.
Looks like is most likely a 50 trim t3 with a stage 1 turbine wheel, most likely a .48ar turbine housing, good for about 200-225hp before you start to push it past it's efficiency limit. However this is just a guess based off the photos. Best way to be 100% sure is to remove the compressor housing and measure the wheel.
