Default Question about Immobilizer in ecu

I have a 01 GSR with the immobilizer. I was originally going to run VAFCII, but now I'm thinking about running hondata with my turbo setup, how will I be able to bypass the immobilizer. I know I need a OBDI ecu and a OBDII > OBDI harness. When I send the OBDI ecu to hondata to get chip, will they bypass my immobilizer or what? I know plenty of people here run hondata on their OBDII cars that have the immobilizer. I did search and none of them were helpful. All they said was that it wasn't a good topic to talk about in public because of thieves. If someone could PM, I would appreciated it. I'm on a tight budget right now, and I'm still weighing if it's worth it to run hondata instead of VAFCII right now.

The immobilizer is in the ECU, and affects the ECU. Since OBD1 ECUs don't have IMM, that means converting to OBD1 removes your IMM completely.

Here is my sarcastic opinion of Immobilizers and how they have absolutely nothing to do with car theft.. **** anyone who disagrees as an ignorant tard.
