Default Question about cat.

Hi I've posted a couple of times about this, I recently instaled a drag kit on my 1994 teg. with a straight b 20 and I had lots of oil in my down pipe. well I found out that for one I had way to small of a return line and also that it was kinked so I bought some 5/8 line moved the return on the pan and it stoped smoking. Which is great, but I test drove it and its nice and then I come to a stop and my car is smoking. So I figured my turbo was bad so I started to take it off and I removed the down pipe theres no oil no signs of oil or anything. So my question is can there be some oil in the cat from when the return line was kinked early and its just burning up. or what else could it be. I am in the process of taking the cat out right now but I got to go get some pb blaster cause the bolts a like seized on it. But I just want to know what could be the prob?
