Default oil return line question

most turbo kits prefer to drill the oil pan for the oil return line at point A, i'm planing to do mine at point B coz of the design of my downpipe, will there be any problems on doing it at point B? why do most kit prefer drilling it at point A?

i don't have any real pic as i didn't do it yet. i have to ask some opinion first before going ahead and drilling my oilpan. i couldn't move it to the right of A as this will surely result in the oil return to touch the downpipe. my oil return is already so near the down pipe that's why i'm planning to relocate it to point B.

any more help?

There is little space to fit a bung for an oil return line there.

I don't know if it really matters, but I try to put my oil drain holes behind a main, that way the windage from the crank wont keep the oil from draining well. Just something to keep in mind.
