Default Quaife install question

When installing a quaife LSD is it necessary to check the pre-load on the tapered roller bearings? If so is the pre-load tool available at regular car parts stores?

Thanks
Ben

I didn't when I installed mine, but then again, i have a B16A2 tranny. If you have tapered roller bearings then you probably have an ITR tranny.

I'm not sure if you reuse teh roller bearings, or you could just get regular B16A2 Ball bearings (from B16A2 tranny).

According to the 1994 Helms for a GSR, there are tapered roller bearings.
Anyone else have experience with a GSR tranny?

Thanks
Ben
