Default puff of white smoke when trying to start?

i just assembled my motor again. when i went to start it the first time a huge cloud of white smoke came out of the intake i believe and out of the breather on the vc and the catch can line from the back of the block(i didnt have it connected to the catch can yet)it ran for a few seconds and when i tried to give it gas it shut off

i have fuel, timing, and compression. the wires, plugs and dizzy are all new. i notice when i try to crank the car it turns over slowly, so i put it on a charge over night and it still cranks slowly. m not throwing a cel either. iv never had a problem like this before putting a car back together.

ls/vtec
81mm wiseco
eagle
1000cc
t4/60-1
stock ignition
3 bar

i pulled the plugs and they have fuel just dripping off of them, so im def not getting spark.

Sounds like you forgot to put a headgasket on lol...

Seriously I'd see if you have coolant blowing into your cylinders....white smoke is a sign of coolant. That definatley would keep you from running rihgt and if theres enough in there it will be hard turning over...I know this because its whats wrong with my car right now..the Cometic headgasket I have sucks, never will I buy from them again.

Hmm well pull the plugs and let the fuel evaporate.

I'd consider changing the plugs. However you can you anything metal to see if your getting spark by pulling the plugs, keeping them connect to the wire (just don't get shocked), turning over the motor. Read up on checking spark...That would be my first guess.

Might be stupid...do you have the dizzy wire harness connected to the dizzy? lol...make sure its tight...make sure you have the right dizzy...

Is the motor broke in? If your compression and leakdown are coming back clean put some miles on it and see what happens.
