Default Car is smoking

Stock turbo b16 that smokes. It doesn't burn oil or antifreeze. I check the turbo it's not leaking any oil. I did a compression test there all around 190. But you start the car it smells like gas. I wondering if it's running rich. Please help.

When does it smoke, and your saying it's white? Well white is water/coolant. Should smell it though really. IS the car tuned or anything? Are the AFR's ok, and what do the plugs look like? Pull the plugs and make sure they aren't soaked or anything eiher....

Maybe your just smelling the exhaust when you start it up as it looks white in colder temps lol. What you have to worry about is blue smoke ideling or in vtec. If it was coolant you would smell the antifreeze.

Do you use a catch can setup. if not and you have the factory pcv hooked up. The smoking you describe sounds like what is generated without venting. and the rings or liners a little worn. during and after boost is when you will see it. try get to operating temp without hittin a positive pressure if it still smokes do a cylinder leak down check. how is your gas milage.

Sounds like the seals are beat on your turbo. Start getting into the higher RPM range and you start pushing oil past the seals. For whatever reason, I'll never really know, smoke from bad turbo seals is almost always mostly white.

if your plugs are soaked there is a couple things that I could think of, your ignition system needs some work maybe just a set of new plugs, wires, cap, or rotor. I asked earlier about your power because if you are only like 300 or so a catch can would help but is not really needed.

OP I agree with you about your turbo not being the problem. your symtoms are a little mixed white smoke with soaked plugs. what plugs are you using and what fuel. If you had all those other electrical parts not working your car might be misfiring etc. A good tune up never hurts. i dont think that is your smoking issue. and if you are running with worn piston rings your gonna get a lot of blow by which a catch can would allow you to continue without so much smoke.

Both sides? Or just IC piping? Seals don't always leak on both sides.

Plugs being soaked in gas is not gong to cause white smoke. That's going to be black, unless of course it's soaked with coolant, which is a head gasket issue.
