Default Program Switcher

just seeing if this would good to use or if its possible to use with hondata to switch the maps from a race map to street when driving around town. how many people out there have used this

very interesting... bump for the OP.

this could be useful for running a pump gas tune and a race gas tune on systems that dont have provisions for map switching.

I haven't used it since I don't see how hard it is to switch a $2 chip rather then this more expensive option. Race/Street tunes really shouldn't be different.

When I tune for Race gas and pump gas I just give the person 2 chips with proper labels.

You can use it. It is easier then switching chips. You must use a 512k chip. I have something similar on my car. It does not work on the fly you have to turn off the car before hitting the switch. Its a inexpensive way to make life easier but like adseguy said switching chips is not hard. It's really up to you if its worth it or not.

So I guess if you dont want to pull apart the interior to change a chip (kinda inconvient) this could be slightly useful for going back and forth between pump and race gas tunes.

I asume this could work with hondata then, well the s200 that is? Too bad I want to go to the s300 before too awful long.

I seen this part running for like 30bucks if I use this I must use 512k chip where can that be found

or if you have S300 and just load up your race map if you have your own laptop.
