Hey guys, I'm new to this site. Seems like most of you guys know your stuff, so let's see if you guys can help me out here. I have a 94 gsr with a gen I drag kit. I just got the motor built and me and my friend installed it. For some reason, the motor won't rev past 4500 rpm. I'm assuming I'm running rich by the fact that I can only get about 150 miles per tank of gas. The mods to the B18C are JE Pistons running 9:1, Crower rods, ITR crank, Ferrea valves, dual valve springs, titianium retainers and a block guard. I have four check valves at the MAP sensor. I tried to move the check valve to the FMU, and that allowed me to rev to redline, BUT when vtec kicks in, the check light comes on and my car will die at idle. Any opinions as to what may be causing this problem is appreciated.
