PowerCore Catalytic Converter Pass MD Inspections?????
I was told a high flow cat is what I want for a JRSC on a GSR engine... the Powercore was recommended... has anyone passed emissions in MD w/ a Powercore???? Thanks, guys.

A guy I know in Ohio just failed pretty bad with one on a B16. I am pretty sure OH's emmissions limits are about the same as MD's.
I don't know his exact numbers though, but he's going to put the stocker back on so he can pass.

just run emissions w/ a stock cat. then just run a straightpipe no cat after you pass. cops in md dont pull you over for anything but tinted wiindows anyway. they dont care about exhaust

I realize I can always pull it off and put my stock one back on-- but my car is a 94-- and most older Tegs have problems with rust around their heatsheild near the cat-- and the bolts on the cat are usually rusted to hell too-- I'd probably have to rip the damn thing (stock cat) out, and don't want to have to worry about tryin' to reattach it for emission purposes...
Unfortunately you're right about MD cops-- they are a pain regarding tinting-- got me for it... but at the same time, they got me for clear taillights and for my exhaust... repair order, repair order, repair order!!! oh well... cops will be cops...
