Default POST pics of your oil return lines..

my return line is leaking and i'm going to redo the system.. can you guys post some pics of ur return setups?? wats the ID of your hoses you are using?? i'm thinking that 5/8" is sufficent for the return flow...

I don't have a pic, but 5/8" which is 10AN is what most people use and it is fine.

-8 AN? Do you have any blowby or do you use some kind of restrictor on the feed. I don't think I could do that with mine(-10AN).

Shaun, looks like your line has a slight upward turn right before it goes to the oil pan. That is generally not a good idea. Have you checked your turbo out to make sure the oil seals are alright? You want the line to be always routing downward, or maybe straight horizontal right at the end.

I think Arturbo was thinking or or actually selling oil return kits that he was making? Did this ever happen or am I smoking too much?

never happened, i was forced to go outside, shop, and learn a thing or two about fittings.

Yeah, I've been meaning to shorten that line by about an inch which will make it more horizontal. So far no problems tho, oil seals are fine and it's not smoking. The picture actually exaggerates the amount it dips. I'll take some better pics soon.

i hope u know the center section of the turbo should generally remain straight up and down
