Listen I didn't mean to say it to you only... that post is meant to bash all "use the biggest turbo you can" theory that's out there.
There are uses for big turbos, and some people DO use them to their limits, and these aren't who i'm talking to. I'm talking to you and me, the average joe who wants a faster honda-- we don't need a t3/t4.
Think of it like this (analogy):
using the t3/t4 or bigger on a stock motor is the eqivalent of putting a cam meant to make power at, for example, the 10k-12k rpm range when your car redlines at 8k. The cams can do SO much more, but your motor can't use it. It's just like the t3/t4. There are much better, more effective "cams" (turbochargers) for your setup.

As far as why the drag kits etc use the t3/t4? who knows. Wanna see somthing interesting?

Go here to the Garret website, the motorsports section and browse under any of the race cars to the technology aspect of the menu. look at what kind of turbo their GT class cars that run the 24 hours of le-mans run....

T25's!!!!
They aren't lacking on power, either.

The other nice thing about smaller turbos is the increased torque you get at part throttle.

If you don't want to spin your tires, just give the car less throttle.

Josh, I too have never understood why people are using 50-60 trim turbos on 200-300 whp cars.
