So it has a T04s Compressor houseing as oppose to a T04e or T04b?

Why isin't it called a T3/T04s then? Why T3/60-1?

Still where does the "60-1" come from? Trust me, I searched....

60-1 = 59.03mm inducer on the compressor wheel
62-1 = 62mm inducer on the compressor wheel

Sorry, but I am not sure what the inducer is?

What size inducer does a T04e have?

Okay, I got to thinking, and it kinda makes since to me now.

Is the inducer wheel what you see when you look into the air inlet of the turbo?

Thus, the 60-1 has a 59.03mm which is almost 60 making it a 60-1....and the 62-1 has a 62mm inducer making it a 62-1.

But still, why is it called a 60-1 instead of a T04s? Why isint the T04e called a 58-1 (say the inducer was 57.XX mm)or whatever?

IM still confused.

60-1 is just a particular trim of the T04b (not S) compressor.

If you look at T04E compressors, it's easy - there's 50 trim, 54, 57, etc... all of which denote the diameter of the inducer in mm (inlet diameter of the compressor wheel). The 60-1 has a larger compressor housing than the other T04b trims, so it almost stands on its own as a completely different family.
