Not to mention less downtime so to speak since you can keep your original motor in the car until the other one is done.

not to throw a wrench in the works but im running close to stock b18c1(81.5mm) bore with the gt4294. you dont necessarily need a large bore engine to make some serious power. i should make what i want with small bore.

anyways, just a little insight there for ya.

why would you not run a larger bore at those levels?

as far as downtime on my car...it is gonna be parked a while anyways cause of bodywork and suspension work. so i aint worried about it i am gettin another car to be my beater....but yea why dont u want a bigger bore? i was always told at higher hp numbers bigger bores are good to have.

longer engine life, turbo will still see full boost around 6800rpm all the way to 11k, just my choice i guess. people on here have built 81.5mm engines and made crazy hp just like bigger(84.5mm) bore engines have. same spool characteristics just a little slower spool thats all. and i have a little nitrous to help out with that...i dont really need it tho ut fukc it ... haha!

it will make power and have a good powerband. it has been proven already. ill be happy with 750-800whp but you never know till you get it on the dyno. EVERY engine is different and we will just have to wait and see.

The bore will be the same either way whether he builds his B16 or an LS block...he hasn't mentioned sleeves at all...so most likely it would be 81.5mm anyway....

There are a variety of 'bolt in' rollbars that could be removed/installed. It wouldn't be something i'd want to do often but it could be done.

something similar to this:

but they also have ones where some of the piping is slightly larger than the rest, so it just slides over the smaller piping and then there is usually a hole in each that lines up and you slide a securing pin through it.

alright "danny" i wasnt being a jackass. Every problem i have had was not due to any engine problem or tuning issue. The fuel line got clogged up on the last build. Really stupid ****.

The valve cover is just a B16 cover that I stripped and repainted with duplicolor red. I'll be powder coating it soon here at my job. The front lip will be on its way once I buy one. Closing on my condo and buying a house at the end of the month takes priority

There are some great setups here. Some people have money in steel braided teflon lines and fittings. It sure dresses the bay up nice.
