you only NEED a cage, if youre running at the tracks. if youre driving it on the street, then you dont NEED a cage. and i believe the cage is only needed for 10.99 or lower.

nevermind. youll see how little 300whp is after youve had it for 2 monthes tops. youll be begging to turn up the boost.

sorry if i am a pain in the *** but i just dont want to cage my car and if it takes a cage to run at the track if i am under 10.99 then i aint gonna push that much out of my car...plus that takes a crap load of money which i will be lucky to finish my motor for 350.

ok what im saying is, if you have 300whp- then after about 2 monthes, your car is going to seem slow regardless of what track times youre pulling. you get used to that much power kinda quickly unless you have it in like a fully gutted crx.
if you have a daily driven car, you are going to want more. and you might not even have to put a cage in your car. i doubt that you will run sub 10.99 with under 400whp. and also, you can get a removable cage that goes together in pieces and comes apart when you wanna take it out.
so what are you gonna do if your track requires a cage for 11.99 and lower passes?

i know i wont run until 10.99 with under 400 i am saying if i push to 700 hp i dont want to cage it iwant the max power without a cage fro track use. if the track says 11.99 and under needs a cage then i guess i wont have a cage in my car and wont run. its stupid on my part yes but i dont want to put removable cages in my car if i was gonna do it i would just put a real welded in cage in. but i just dont want that. i understand what your saying and i will want more but for now NO. i just want this build done

Holy ****, look at all these ramhorn and topmount setups. I'm still rockin' a DRAG manifold like it was 1997.

The manifold is drag, so is the downpipe.... the rest is "homebrew":

all he means is boost is ******* addictive man...its worse then crack! lolz

once you get it tuned to approx. 300whp then you WILL want more soon enough! and thats a PROMISE brotha. once you hit 300 then youll want 400...then 500. and so on! i went from a ls/turbo making MAYBE 250whp to a stock boosted gsr making 395whp. then threw some rods/pistons in the same engine and made maybe 500whp. NOW im wanting 800+whp quest.

boost is so ******* ridiculous its funny man! youll see.

Technically it wouldn't be an LS/VTEC then...but you could always find an LS crank for cheap.
