probably not with it having such a rich A/F ratio. If you have an adjustable fuel regulator you should turn it down before the test and try to lean it out a little. Turbo chargers can actually help to clean emmisions so its probably just gonna take a little less fuel to do it.

if atl is as strict as cali then no. I dont see why if you not running rich in idle and have a cat that you wouldnt pass. turn your fpr if you have one.

i dont think im running really that rich but i guess wll see soon. im not sure if ga is as strict as cali. i just no that in GA they dont care about C.A.R.B numbers and stuf liek that. and they dont care about motors and turbos. u just have to pass the sniffer. i hope that i can do that

they dont do full thorttle runs right? what we do when i get my car tuned is i will tune for like low 14's out of boost and low 12's in boost, im sure they wont boost it when testing it ? i dunno though, i will be in the same predicament soon .

no they dont. they do like steady increase from idel to aobut 2-4k rpms and then they just keep the foot on the gas at about 3-4k rpms. and then the test finishes. the longer the test lasts the more chance u have at failing. lol if its over quickly then u now u are probably going to pass.

im going to test this weekend. my friend can help me out sshhh dont tell anyone. i wont tell any names or tell anyone who it is or where its at. but all he will do for me is let me run my car in test mode first. its the saem as the real test just does not print a certificate and does not transmit to the state electronically. if it passes there then we know it will pas the real thing. thats what we did on my JDM ITR swap. if it doest pass. ill figure something else out. i like to pass legally. i dont want to get anyone in trouble

I dunno about other states.
But in massachusetts, the sniffers used here were PROVEN not to work at all.
They pass cars that should have failed. Fail cars that should have passed.
They have very poor accuracy. If I failed here I would just slip the guy a couple of $20's since the test is meaningless.
