that's masking tape to cover the fins.

So if the fins arent painted, you are still gonna see the intercooler anyway right? This isnt directed at anyone, but people say spray the endtanks and no the fins, but then it kind of defeats the purpose because the whole point in spraying it black would be to hide it/stealth right?

well it would still be pretty hard to spot it because the fins are positoned to where the thin side shows .. not sure how to explain or word it but here is a pic before i painted the bars and end tanks black.

The fins look exactly like a radiator's fins. So to anyone who doesn't own an IC, and wants to know what it looks like, go look at your radiator.
