Default Intercooler Piping Question

Made made my own Intercooler Piping, it worked out great and has performed well. I now have the performance aspect of it that I wanted, but not the looks. I would like it to look a little cleaner and I was thinking about having all the piping powdercoated black. Does anyone know of any cons to doing this? Should I just paint it?

If it's alright to powdercoat, should the inside and outside be done or just the outside?

think about your intake charge temp vs. your engine bay temp. you will be insulating your piping making the heat from outside stay out better and the heat inside your pipes stay in....think in your specific case which is more beneficial.

well I've thought of the insulation factor, but don't really know if powdercoating actually insulates at all. As far as if so, it could only make the intake charge cooler, keeping warm out and cool in. As far as whether or not to do the inside and outside, how would you go about doing only the outside? plugging the piping before doing it????

Do not go out of your way to paint the inside, is what we're saying.

Clean them (with alcohol of some type), primer them, then paint a few coats of gloss for a durable finish.
