Default Overheating Problems After Piston, Rods Install

I am having problem with My 1.8 Dohc Vtec With Drag Turbo Kit. Last week I installed JE 9.1 Pistons and Scat rods. I also Installed New Oil Pump, Water Pump, OEM Headgasket, GE Headstuds. I drove the car for like 1 week after Install and Yesterday the Weather Was in the 70's and I was driving in Stop and go traffic and the temperature started to go Up, it went up pass Half and then I stopped. and I let it Idle. The car smells a little like antifreeze in the cabin. Today I changed the the thermostat, thermoswitch and I bleed the system. After I changed all that I drove for like 40 Minutes and I got to where I was going and it did it again. What could It be. I checked the Oil Cap and there is No Milky stuff there, The fans are coming on like they are suppose to. Could it be that I need the head retorqued??

that could be a blown headgasket, or air pockets in the head. Make sure you retorque the headbolts after 500 miles

I was told to retorque the head studs after 10 heat cycles...

I would try that, and see if it helps...

I am going to try to Retorque the head but I dont think it has a blow headgasket cause its not Mixing Or anything and the thing has only like 300 miles. The car runs Fine, and its weird cause I cant pin it down on when it does it, Cause it doesnt do it after I drive Hard or When I am crusing.

I don't think the head can have air pockets... there might be air in your coolant, which lowers the boiling temp and could cause you to overheat...

Just run your car with your radiator cap off and your heat all the way on until there are no more bubbles in your coolant... make sure to top it off too...

I found the Problem, It was that the Radiator Fan was Trying to Push air threw the radiator instead of pulling it threw.
