Overheating STILL!!!!!!
Here is my setup First,
1.8 GSR
JE Pistons, Scat Rods
Golden Eagle Block Guard
oem headgasket
Drag Turbo KIT
FLUIDYNE Full size radiator For Integra
TWO 12" Fans pushing 1450 CFM
No Thermostat
It started to Overheat after I changed the pistons and rods
So I took of the head and took to the machine shop thinking that the Head was Bent.
Installed and the same Problem.
Its funny cause it Overheats the same with or without the thermostat.
I am thinking it is problem the Block Guard or the Water pump.
It doesnt Over flow or anything, I have changed the headgasket twice.
Its random too. It does it standing, sometimes Running. It doesnt do it in any other.
I am puzzled at what it is??
Any Input Would be appreciated.

I always see a GSR hatchback running high 10's on just pistons and rods at the track, dont know about reliability though just its always there

why no thermo? why did you put the blockguard in there? did you search for the numerous dynos with cars making tons of power with just pistons and rods?

Re: Overheating STILL!!!!!! (JDM S1eeper)
Check if your water pump is working. Since you have no thermostat now. Just start the car and open the radiator cap and check if the water circulates.
Try this and then we can move on to other things.

throw the thermostat back on. we had to throw the thermostat back onto my friends bronco rock crawler because it was overheating. the coolant doesn't have sufficient time to cool down through the radiator.
