Problems after turbo install
Just finished installing my kit. Took it out for a spin, everything sounded fine, turbo spooled nice and loud. Car started to get hot so I took it home. Pull in my garage and my radiator bursts. Kinda figures this would happen cuz it was leaking a little. Took off my oil cap and noticed a milky type fluid on the cap. this morning I went out to start my car up and noticed some water coming out of the downpipe, I've heard This can cause a milky type oil. Also my bov wasn't working. Maybe tapped wrong vaccum tap? Any ideas?

From what I have read and discussed with my tuner personally is that on basemaps you should try not to even enter boost. From what I have seen on here sometimes basemaps are spot on and work fine, other times they just get the car started and off to the tuner. Without having everything put in exactly without guessing I personally wouldn't do anything wreckless..
Even w/5lbs of boost you blown your head gaskets. You prob boosted a 180k civic, the head bolts could have been not torque right, or the head gasket was on it's last leg then once the car since pressurize air then bye bye head gasket.
Or you reamed on it w/a base map like 98% of kids do.

where did you come up with this 180k civic? im leaning towards the gasket was on its last leg and once i entered boost it went. is there any test i can be for sure?
lol at everyone pointing straight to a headgasket. thats the worst case and very possible but at least cehck some smaller things first. fix your radiator, change your oil and coolant, bleed the system. do a leakdown and comp test and see what happens. if the car continues to get hot and mix fluids then go for a headgasket change.
In order to do a compression test you must have the car warmed up to operating temperature. Doing that while you are already leaking fluids is a bad idea especially with a non working radiator. Get that fixed and change the coolant and oil. Hopefully they won't mix again. Please get you car tuned before having fun with it. The temptation is great, but pretend your car has a nasty STD and your tuner has the cure to rid the disease. Then have fun!
