I am new to the hondata s200 system, and i am just curious what the overboost protection is about, how does it "protect" from overboost?

It doesn't cut the boost, it cuts off the motor if the boost goes too high. I've used it before and and it works well as long as your MAP sensor is accurate.

It cuts off the fuel when the map values comes over the preset value on the Rom.
