You can always get it tuned to your low boost setting first, then buy the new MAP and get the higher boost tuned later down the road.
Just dont boost high until you get it tuned.

get your 3Bar Map and Boost Controlllerbefore the tune. No need to get it tuned twice if not necessary. when they tune your car they will start with the lowest boost setting that you have and increase the boost level to the maxium setting that your set up (motor) can handle.
once it's tuned you can set your boost to the low setting for daily driving.

Just out of curiousity, how is a boost controller not necessary with hondata? ...I know a wastegate helps regulate the boost... but how would hondata also regulate it? Does it do it electronically with a sensor of some sort or does it do it manually?

hmmm sounds like a boost cut off switch. I was not aware hondata itself would be able to increase or decreas the boost. if it did, it means it would some how be connected to the WG. I think you will still need a boost controller. basically they will adjust the boost with the controller and tune each boost/Map settings. I am almost positive you need one.

hondata cant control boost , but u can set the boost cut at a certain psi and it wont let u pass it.
now that means if u have a 7psi spring, hondata cant make u boost 5psi or 9 psi
u still need a boost controller to up the boost and choose a wastegate spring for ur
min boost
