Default Ordered a JDM B18C

I caved, I'm getting the B18C and I'm getting it sleeved by benson, 1500 with pistons.

I need a list of other items I need, I know I need a Walbro fuel pump, 550cc fuel injectors, and what not, I'm intending to boost 20+psi.

Is this a good price for this kit, he will sell it to me for 2700

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...40874

Now, I need know what else I absolutely have to have for high levels of boost.

Here are items I am already going to purchase:

Saab 900 Intercooler
Coilovers
Stage 3 clutch
Apex N1 Muffler with custom piping
AEMs Fuel Management (Was told it was better than Hondata for high levels of boost, correct me if I'm wrong.)

What the ****, can you not read, and by the way it's a JDM B18C1 (GSR) sorry for confusion.

Ok, when I say I am getting it sleeved by benson with pistons, does that not mean built?

i dont know about that turbo kit man...sounds fishy. It says it comes with a t3/t4 turbonetics, yet it shows a garrett in the pic. Also, the manifold, never specifies what brand, just says "ss equal length manifold"...be careful.

Still though, when you think about it, nothing else could be bad, If I have to replace the turbo I can get it for 300 and I am still saving money.

the kit looks shady to me. just peice together your own. and you will most likely need larger injector to run 20psi. and you better get some rods too.

I wouldn't buy that kit. It comes with some items you don't need, like the fmu and missing link. Also he says that the kit has never been used and that some parts have very low miles, but from the looks of the pics it looks like they've been used for more than 400 miles. For $2700 you can buy new and better products than what that guy has to offer. Plus when you buy on ebay you never know what your going to get. This is what I would do if I were you.

Tial wastegate (contact camp1320 or http://www.importparts.com)
720cc injectors (550cc not enough for 20 psi) get from http://www.camp1320.com
Inline pro manifold ( contact arturbo)
Precesion turbo (contact arturbo for specs that would best suit your car)
greddy type s blow off valve (contact camp1320)
spearco intercooler with drag piping (contact camp 1320)
GM 3 bar map sensor (contact camp 1320), don't forget the pigtail
Hondata s100 w/boost (contact http://www.wiredspeed.com)
walboro upgraded intank fuel pump (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=694770)
3 inch exhaust (http://www.accordinglydone.com/store...hp?cPath=42_73)
downpipe (contact Tony1)

All those part will probably run you about $3700-3800. I think the extra $1100 is worth it, you know what your getting and all the parts are brand new. I hate to see people skimp on the key components of a car. You don't want to build you block with benson sleeves pistons, rods, etc. then buy inferior turbo components. There are 4 things you need to successful build a good turbo car.

1. strong motor
2. fuel management (hondata, aem, motec, etc.)
3. good tuner
4. quality turbo, manifold and intercooler

Hope this helps

what's a JDM B18C1?? JDM GS-R???

550cc with 20psi...hmmm
what standalone?
clutch?
tires??

...you do need to research my friend!

Also, Lets be correct...they are all B18c's in Japan....and either from an Si-R(G) or Type R...

and unless you're pouring a lot of money into your setup, 20psi is a bit too high of a goal straight of the bat.

In all honestly you need to clam down and do some more research before you get stuck with a bunch of parts that you dont need. Sounds like you power hungry and throwing a bunch of parts together. Unfortuantely it doesnt work like that. You need a motor, that works well with the turbo kit, you need a standalone that will meet your needs. Basically you need parts that work well together not a bucnh of **** thrown together.

For 20+ psi, the 550 injectors will be more than maxed out.
You gettign sleeved bt aebs, but plan on running a saab intercooler?????

Do some research or give up, but right now it sounds like your in over your head

Just looked at that kit, I wouldnt pay more than $2000k for that, but $2700 for a used kit, with a shitty manifold You say I can replace the turbo for $300, so that makes it $3000 on top of additional expenses.

Im not trying to be a dick, just being realiastic as you should .
