Last summer I swapped a 94 jdm b18c into my 92 cx and soon will be boosting for the first time. I know this has probably been covered before but I'm looking to see what kind of #'s I can expect. Setup: 94 jdm b18c with lsd/tranny stock, Drag III turbo kit, 880cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, hondata. I'm not sure if I left anything out or not. I'm wanting to run between 7 - 10lbs. First off is this a safe amount of boost to be running on stock internals? What kind of hp #'s can I expect? and one last thing. How well do the stock lsd's hold up under boost? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Considering you do have a higher compression motor you should be able to get around or over 300hp properly TUNED at lower boost levels. If I were you I would definitely upgrade the pistons and rods because you don't exactly know the condition of them until you open up the motor or it fails on you. I would suggest upgrading the clutch (if you haven't done so), fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator (stay away from those rail mounted types such as B&M), exhaust piping/muffler, etc.....Also, it wouldn't hurt to sleeve the block either...just a little insurance because DOWNTIME does SUCK!!!

Thanks for the advice. I do plan on changing the stock internals and sleeving the block but unfortunately I'm not rich and will probably have to wait until next year to do those upgrades. I just wanna make sure that until I go that route I will be ok running this setup. Thanks again for the advice!!

Its all good. TAke it from me...I didn't get all the stuff on my setup over a weekend. Not all of us have rich parents that front the money for this expensive hobby.

dont you think 880 injectors are a little much for a stock motor?

I do but I got a great deal on them and I won't have to upgrade them for a while.

do a quick compression test and post up the numbers. around 300whp is what you should be shooting for on stock blocks.
