but i thought it's kinda like sucking up water for it to go into the engine?
like same concept with it getting air to go thru the intercooler, but instead water thru the IC. . . .
what's the worst that could happen if it DOES suck up water?

I wouldn't drive an open turbo on the street on a dry day.I can't imagine how much crap your running thru your blades let alone thru your engine. My car looks pretty bad after driving in the rain.Water is ok but the rocks and chunks of asphalt bother me.
the water is gonna get vaporized
which is basically mist and thats ok cause most the time compressors are spittin out 200*F or more BEFORE it hits the IC water doesnt stay liquid pass its boiling point which is around 100*F and up
