Open or closed loop w/zdyne for boost (not wastegate dump)
I am having a problem with my car not going. If I press the pedal down past about 1" then at about 5000rpm the motor spits sputters and will not go anywhere. If I were to keep the throttle about 1" down, then it will go just fine all the way up to 8000rpm. Now I am wonderng if this has anything to do with the open/closed loop setting in the ECU. Should I disable closed loop and run off the preprogrammed maps? This is on a B16 with Zdyne Gold SECU, 3mm Head gasket, and I am running an open loop wastegate dump also. Let me know if you have a solution to my problem or something to look into.

Re: Open or closed loop w/zdyne for boost (yellaboi)
Set your vtec activation lower. Its not a smooth transition when under load. Try it at 4800rpm -5200rpm. Open or closed loop is not your problem. You should also put some form of a air fuel meter on the car to see if its too rich or lean and adjust accordingly.
